New Path Counselling in Maynooth is run by Lynne O`Reilly.
I am passionate about working with people and helping them navigate the stresses and challenges they meet in life.
What to expect
I work in an Integrative manner which means that I am experienced in working with several approaches including Person Centered, CBT, Choice Therapy, Mindfulness, Transactional Analysis and Brief Solution Focused Therapy.This approach enables me to offer the type of Therapy that is best suited to your individual needs.
Just as no two people are the same the duration of Counselling varies depending on the particular needs and goals of the client. Some clients feel that they benefit most from short term solution focused Counselling (usually 6-8 weeks) whiles others may wish to gain a greater understanding and awareness of themselves and benefit from longer term therapy.
Qualifications
Lynne is a graduate of University College Dublin and holds a professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Lynne has undertook further studies and has completed a Professional Practitioner`s Certificate in Children and Adolescent Counselling.
Lynne has also completed workshops in Reality Therapy / Choice Theory , Working with Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
Lynne is a fully accredited member of IACP and abides by their strict code of ethics.
