New Path Counselling is a private practice providing counselling and psychotherapy located in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, owned and managed by Lynne O Reilly, MIACP.
I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy to individuals and adolescents in order to help them overcome any difficulties or challenges they are facing in their lives.
If you are experiencing difficulties in any area of your life, or simply would like the opportunity to talk to a trained professional in a safe and non-judgemental environment Counselling can help.
Counselling provides the space for you to explore and discuss difficult feelings or issues in an environment that is respectful, supportive and confidential.
Counselling can also help you to develop new skills and more effective ways of dealing with life`s challenges as they arise.

A small bit about me.
I am a graduate of University College Dublin and hold a professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have also undertaken specialist training and have completed a Professional Practitioner`s Certificate in Children and Adolescent Counselling.
I have completed workshops in Reality Therapy / Choice Theory , Working with Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
I currently work as a Counselling psychotherapist both in private practic e and also in Pieta House,the centre for the prevention of self-harm and suicide.
I am also a fully accredited member of IACP and abide by their strict code of ethics.
I specialise in helping individuals and couples through counselling to overcome life's challenges in the belief that there is always a "New Path" that they can choose.
